宇宙几乎无限大，存在了几乎无限久，对比之下每个人如生活在尘埃之上，生命如孑孓一般短暂。人有三局限：
- 生活空间
- 生命时期
- 宗教信仰
局限的生活空间、时间和思想限制了人们对自然、生命、和宇宙的认知。
没有什么比宇宙更巨大。古文明时代人类就开始观察宇宙，也发现了许多秘密，尤其是到了现代。这些大发现引导了新学问。假如我们虚怀若谷地向这些科学家学习这些宇宙的观察、发现和新学问，那么，我们居住的空间就不再限制着我们的认知。
同期记载的历史始于三千年前左右，中国拥有最多的这类历史。如果我们学习历史，我们的知识能延伸三千年。
最早的文物可以追溯到200万年前以上。如果我们接受考古学，并向考古学家学习，我们的知识可以延伸200万年。
最古老的化石可能源自35亿年前。假如我们接受化石学家的学问和结论，我们的知识可以延伸30亿年。
如果我们真诚的接受历史、考古学、和化石学，并向历史学家、考古学家、和化石学家，学习他们的发现和学问，那么我们短暂的生命不再限制我们对自然、生命和宇宙的认知。
最后，同时也很重要，当人的思想能够超越他本身的宗教，那么宗教就不再限制着他思想的自由。这却是最大挑战。
Confinements of Human Beings on Comprehension of the Nature, Life And Universe
The universe is almost infinitely big. It is also almost infinitely old. In comparison, a man lives as on a dust, and his life is as short as a larva. There are three major confinements to a person:
- The space he lives in
- The period he lives
- His religion
These confinements of space, time and freedom of mind constrain a person’s comprehension of the nature, life and the universe.
Nothing is bigger than the universe. People have been observing the universe since old civilisation, and have made great discoveries, especially in the modern era. New knowledge has been derived from these discoveries. If we humbly learn from scientists on their observations, discoveries and knowledge of the universe, then the space we live in is no more a confinement to our comprehension.
Contemporary written history started about three thousand years ago. China has the most of this. By studying history, our knowledge is broadened by three thousand years.
Oldest artifacts dated back a couple of million years or more ago. By accepting archaeology and learning from archaeologists, our knowledge can be broadened by 2 million years.
Oldest fossils might date back perhaps 3.5 billion years ago. By accepting the conclusion and knowledge of the scientists who have studied fossils, our knowledge can be broadened by some three billion years.
If we sincerely accept history, archaeology, and fossil science, and learn from historians, archaeologists and fossil scientists on their discoveries and knowledge, then our short life span is no more a confinement to our comprehension of the nature, life and the universe.
Last but not least, if one could think beyond his religion, then the religion is no more a confinement to his freedom of mind. This is the biggest challenge.
